MPX electrical resistivity imager
The MPX electrical resistivity imager is a modular switching box designed for electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) surveys. It manages groups of 16 electrodes, allowing for rapid and precise switching between current and potential electrodes. Controlled by systems like POLARES or RM1, the MPX units offer scalability, enabling the expansion of electrode networks up to 256 electrodes without modifying the central acquisition unit. This flexibility makes it ideal for comprehensive geophysical investigations, including self-potential, induced polarization, and ERT methodologies.
